“Paying for Katie’s services has been without a doubt the best thing I could have done to support me with my pain journey.

I remember the first time I met Katie, I could barely communicate through tears, the painful situation I was in. I had seen so many doctors and lacked any direction or what to do.

I had severe foot pain, knee pain and back pain and I had been off work for 8 weeks.

I was taking various pain medication, I could barely drive and I was extremely anxious not having a diagnosis and struggling to cope.

Katie brings a wealth of experience to her consultations with you, however I feel the most important thing she brings is support, empathy and understanding. You do not feel alone with your symptoms, most importantly because she has been through her own chronic pain journey, which is the reason why I decided to work with her. She had been through it herself, she didn’t make silly promises, she just explained her history and the science behind it.

I also really brought in to Katie’s personality as she is warm and approachable but also honest, methodical and informative.

She does not expect you to do a large amount at once, she guides you through the process and supports you through it.

She praises you when you have success but I think more importantly she does this even with the smallest change which can mean everything to you.

When you are in chronic pain, the last thing you want to do is change your habits or exercise right? Even the smallest exercises, but when Katie explains the reasons and knowledge behind it, you want to try and when you start to see improvement you just want to do more and I promise you do feel the results.

I have found the knowledge and information given to me around nutrition the most useful, alongside the one on one support and direction when it comes to exercise.

You can utilise her experience with Pilates but she uses all the tools in her box to support you.

She sends you ideas of exercises, blogs, information if you want it, diet info and it’s very useful.

The thing I think you really get to understand with Katie is that you can own and change your own pain journey, you can help it and relieve it with your actions and this is extremely powerful.

The difference in me from when I started to now is highly significant. Katie has shown me how to listen to my body, to not be afraid to move and I now understand the importance of what you eat and how it affects your symptoms.
I swim 4 times a week, do exercises and I have a very healthy diet, I can wear footwear which I couldn’t do before and I am back to work.

I am not at the end of my journey, but my symptoms have significantly reduced and I know what to do if they flare. I am no longer scared of my condition. It doesn’t own me, I own it and have control.

The power of positivity gratitude and journaling has blown my mind.
